MEET RANDY

Randy Lee Vradenburg, who grew up in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford area of North Texas, has been a guitarist and guitar teach for 42 years. A graduate of L.D. Bell High School in Hurst, he studied music theory and general studies at Tarrant County College and the University of Texas at Arlington.

Randy toured the United States, Canada and Mexico for seven years, playing pop, rock, jazz, country, blues and show tunes in show bands. He has served as band leader for Mankind, Sommerset Beacon, Straight Lace and Bottom Line Group.

Before opening MyGuitar24/7 Teaching Studio in Southlake, Texas, in 2006, he taught guitar at Mr. E’s Music in Arlington, Brook Mays Music in Southlake and Ridglea Music in Fort Worth. He co-authored Scales Over Chords and Everything About Playing Blues, published by American Music Sales Corp. and sold by Amazon.com, Guitar Center, Borders Books and Walden Books throughout the U.S. and Europe.

Randy’s current band, Bottom Line Group, plays ’80s rock, jazz, disco, blues, country and oldies. The group performs at a wide variety of events, including weddings, corporate meetings, outdoor concerts, backyard parties and special events.
